About Spectrale

Spectrale is a free internet radio player that streams live radio stations from around the world. With over 14,000 stations from 190+ countries, you can discover music, news, talk radio, and cultural programming across every genre — no account, no subscription, no downloads.

How it works

Open spectrale.app in any modern browser and you're instantly listening. Spectrale picks a station for you based on your location and listening history, then adapts its recommendations as you skip, save, and explore. Swipe or tap to move to the next station; the music never stops.

Every station streams live directly from the broadcaster. Spectrale sources its catalog from Radio Browser, a community-maintained directory of free internet radio stations.

Audio-reactive visuals

Each station comes with a real-time WebGL visualization that reacts to the music as it plays — colors, shapes, and movement driven by the audio signal. On devices that can't handle WebGL, Spectrale falls back to a lighter ambient mode automatically.

Entirely in your browser

Spectrale has no backend. Your liked stations and listening history are saved to your device using IndexedDB — nothing is sent to a server. The recommendation engine runs entirely client-side, improving as you listen without ever uploading your data.

Free, forever

Spectrale is free to use. If you enjoy it and want to support development, you can buy a coffee on Ko-fi. That's entirely optional.
